These pearly white petals will bode you goodnight each dusk, as you sit back and congratulate yourself on your growing prowess. Plants will flower repeatedly within a year and usually self seed and scatter naturally around your garden. At 60cm tall they bow to the wind, but never life’s pressures while boasting a cheery yellow centre.
From the owners, Hayley & Roger Mason:
We have sourced our seeds from the best seed houses in the world.
We were chatting over winter about how much we were looking forward to spending more time outside and what we could do... so out came Roger's suggestion to keep bees. In our backyard!
The anticipation was real, it was an extra cold and long winter for the bees and we had to wait until the warm Spring. So we had a five months to research, you-tube and soak in as much information as we could about what we were literally about to get our hands into (bees!).
We're back in Australia now and those bees moved to a beautiful homestead. We've been too transient to have our own hive... until now! You can follow along for a laugh and bee facts on instagram @settlerhives.
Time to start planting flowers and feed the little workers!
