So many puns. So little thyme. Grow for flavouring soups, stews, stuffing and beef dishes. Simple to grow in dry sunny spots; it will reward you by providing a weed suppressing ground cover and attractive delicate flowers. Thyme after thyme.
From the owners, Hayley & Roger Mason:
We have sourced our seeds from the best seed houses in the world.
We were chatting over winter about how much we were looking forward to spending more time outside and what we could do... so out came Roger's suggestion to keep bees. In our backyard!
The anticipation was real, it was an extra cold and long winter for the bees and we had to wait until the warm Spring. So we had a five months to research, you-tube and soak in as much information as we could about what we were literally about to get our hands into (bees!).
We're back in Australia now and those bees moved to a beautiful homestead. We've been too transient to have our own hive... until now! You can follow along for a laugh and bee facts on instagram @settlerhives.
Time to start planting flowers and feed the little workers!
